Special boot modes

Recovery: With the device powered off, hold Power + Volume Down. When the LG logo appears, release both buttons and then hold Power + Volume Up + Volume Down. When prompted to erase all user data, press Power to continue, and once again to confirm. Then the device will boot to recovery.

NOTE: Accept the factory reset prompt using the hardware buttons. If you have done everything correctly, this will not actually reset your device but instead will boot the custom recovery.
